Not to forget the name the three remaining members of the band chose, after Ian&#8217;s suicide. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.songfacts.com\/detail.php?id=2529\" target=\"_blank\">New Order became a million dollar band<\/a> in the end.<\/p>\n<p>There&#8217;s a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.dailymotion.com\/video\/xalcj4_joy-division-le-film-choc_music\" target=\"_blank\">film on dailymotion <\/a>telling the story of Joy Division and Manchester, a very impressing documentary. Don&#8217;t miss it, the whole 90 minutes are still online, and you can even download it, if you get <a href=\"http:\/\/www.downloadhelper.net\/\" target=\"_blank\">Download Helper<\/a>, a Firefox plug-in.<\/p>\n<p>After watching the movie I was kinda wondering how Deborah Curtis would tell this same story, she being the wife of Ian, but never part of the scene. I see she has written a book about her marriage, and I would at least read her side of the story <a href=\"http:\/\/www.guardian.co.uk\/music\/2005\/apr\/11\/popandrock.joydivision\" target=\"_blank\">here in this interview<\/a> or in the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.de\/Touching-Distance-Deborah-Curtis\/dp\/0571239560\/ref=cm_cr_pr_pb_t\" target=\"_blank\">book, it&#8217;s still available<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Joy Division certainly is one band with many faces.
